So you didn’t get your Swagbucks UK / Money Saving Expert Double SB – now what?
**Please note, this is a little rough and ready as I wanted to get it up ASAP – it’s also the route *I’M* going to take and *MY* views, not necessarily those of GPT Genies – you may or may not want to do the same.**
So, perhaps unsurprisingly, many of you (me included) have not received the Swagbucks / MSE double SB bonus from the promotion they ran in April 2018.
Here’s the route I’m going to take – I’m not saying you have to do the same or do all the steps, but the more of us that do, the more they MAY listen.
A few things to note:
- The promotion ran from April 4th to April 13 inclusive
- Definitely included in the offer were surveys (Answer), Discover, Search and Videos (I’m including apps and Watch in this)
- In order to be eligible for the promotion, you had to click the link via the MSE website, as detailed in this post here
So what am I going to do?
1: Ticket Swagbucks UK
In order to do this I first need to be able to tell them how much they owe me.
This means I need to filter my activity log for those dates and by those categories.
Go to your Activity log and find these fields (this is on laptop but the same should apply on phone or tablet):
Filter by date:
Then using the Activity Types drop down, filter by each activity and note down the amount:
I also filtered by Other to see if I had any tickets credited in that time and found that conveniently they had credited a 3000SB Discover as a ‘courtesy credit’ – I’m claiming for it anyway.
And as I’m pretty mad, I’m adding in ncraves and Play too 🙂
2: Ticket Swagbucks UK for not abiding by their offer
You can find out how to ticket here
I’m going to use the intial screengrab of the offer plus the screengrabs of the activity logs above (DON’T use my activity screengrabs, produce your own)
In the ticketing section of Swagbucks UK, I’m going through the Promotions section.
Within the text I will also stress how unhappy I am that not only did I not get my SB, neither did my referrals, many of whom I encouraged to sign up that week.
3: Post a PUBLIC MESSAGE on the Swagbucks UK Facebook page
Make sure the message is a PUBLIC one on the wall, not a PM to the page admin.
Don’t respond to someone else’s post, write a new one.
4: Message Swagbucks on Twitter
You can find their Twitter account here – there is no dedicated UK account so if you have Twitter just message this one – again publicly not privately.
5: Tell Money Saving Expert how badly Swagbucks UK are behaving
MSE put their name to this, recommended it and I am sure do not want to be associated with bad feeling.
So tell them what’s going on – the more of us that do, the more they will listen.
- post on their Facebook page
- Tweet them
- Message them via their website / email
- Post in their forums if you’re a member
Seriously guys, don’t take this lying down, there have been so many cock-ups by Swagbucks recently, they need to be called on it.
I’m owed around 5130SB, which is over £35, so I’m definitely not happy.
