Searching & Collector’s Bills – Swagbucks: What’s this?
Swagbucks has its own search engine, powered by Yahoo search. Every search that you make via Swagbucks search will be tracked & you can be randomly awarded points (SB) for making a search.Contents:
- Swagbucks Search
- Collector’s Bills
How can I earn SB through searching?
There are several ways you can earn via search.
- Search via the Swagbucks search page.
- Search via the search box on the Swagbucks toolbar.
- Set Swagbucks as your default search engine.
- Install the swagbutton to ensure your searches will be tracked.
N.B. Ensure you do not have any Ad Blocking software installed on the browser that you use for Swagbucks. Ad Blockers can stop Swagbucks from tracking your activity which means they won’t reward you.
Swagbucks only tracks your searches to award you. They do not record or store any of your information. Read their Privacy Policy for more information.
How much can I earn via Swagbucks search?
The amount you can win, via searching on Swagbucks, varies from 4 SB to 100 SB.
The lower amounts (4, 5, 10 etc) are won most often. The 100 SB win is rare to find.
How will I know I’ve won?
When you win, you’ll see a congratulations image, featuring the amount of SB you’ve won, above the search results.
There’s usually a captcha that you’ll have to answer before you will be awarded the SB. The captcha is case sensitive so be careful to enter it exactly as shown.
Once you’ve entered the captcha correctly, the page will reload and you’ll see the search win congratulation image without the captcha next to/below it. Your SB will have be added to your account.
N.B. If you don’t enter the captcha within a certain amount of time, your win will expire. Don’t navigate away from the search page before you’ve entered the captcha or you may lose out.
Top Tip: Search wins are rewarded randomly, however there seems to be a limit of 4 wins per day. After you’ve won once, wait a couple of hours before searching again to have your best chance of winning SB.
What are Collector’s Bills?
Every so often (1-3 times a month) Swagbucks runs a search promotion. These are called Collector’s Bills.
They work in exactly the same way as regular searching, except that you get a themed award image instead of the plain blue one.
How many Collector’s Bills are there?
Each set of Collector’s Bills can be a different amount.
Collector’s Bills events that last for one day generally only have one Bill to win.
Collector’s Bills events that run for up to a week (most of them) generally have between 5 & 6 Bills to win.
If you manage to complete the set, even if there’s only one Bill to win, you also get a 20 SB bonus.
Where can I see what Bills I have?
Next to your Ledger, there is a tab for Collector’s Bills. Under that tab, you’ll see a list of Collections.
When you open the dropdown, you can see which ones you have won.
