The Swagbucks Video Apps in Focus: 7 – Sportly
The final video app for Swagbucks is Sportly. This app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
If you haven’t joined Swagbucks yet, join now so you can make the most of this post.
Download Sportly here:
Once you’ve downloaded the app, sign in with your Swagbucks details.
Sportly only contains videos. This makes it easy and simple to use.
When watching videos on Sportly we recommend going to the Short Clips section. On an Android device you can add the shortest videos to favourites which will reduce your overall viewing time. Let the videos run until the app says you’ve reached your total for the day.
Currently, you can earn 10 SB from each app from 8am GMT (midnight PT) – 2am GMT (6pm PT), and another 10 SB per app between 2am GMT and 8am GMT. Sometimes you may get bonus rounds, these are great and will add to your daily earnings.
You will often get ads between the videos. These are normal and are how Prodege (Swagbucks’ parent company) gets paid and, therefore, how we get paid. Therefore, there is no way to skip the ads or disable them.
You can see how to use Sportly below.
Unfortunately, Prodege removed the option to favourite videos on Sportly in an update several months ago. In addition, they removed the counter that told us how many more videos we had to watch to earn SB. Now there is just a bar that gradually fills up.
Many of us choose to run the Short Clips playlist to reduce overall viewing time.
When watching videos on the Android app we recommend favouriting some of the shortest videos in the Short Clips section. A suggestion is the “Dan Curry – Leper Hockey Game” video at 14 secs.
