Facebook Quick Tip – Use Topic Tags to find relevant posts in a group
Facebook recently introduced a very welcome and helpful feature to groups, Topic Tags. Tags can be added any post in a group so they can be easily categorised and found.
Read on to see how you can make use of topic tags to find useful posts in our group.
Laptop/Desktop
On a laptop/desktop, or tablet if using the website, you will find the tag list on the right hand side of the group. You can click on a tag to see the posts contained within it or click on the ellipsis (the three dots) to see more tags.
When you click on the ellipsis you will be taken to the list of Topic Tags. The list is automatically sorted by Newest first. You can change this to be sorted by Popularity or Alphabetical.Clicking on a Tag will take you to that section where you can see all the posts that have been tagged as such. Posts can be tagged with up to 5 Topics. These can be seen next to, or under, the name of the person who posted.
Mobile App
When using the mobile app, you will find the tag list on the right hand side of the group. You can click on a tag to see the posts contained within it or click “See More” to see more tags.
Clicking on a Tag will take you to that section where you can see all the posts that have been tagged as such. You can scroll along the top to go to other Topics.
Posts can be tagged with up to 5 Topics. These can be seen underneath the post.
Please note: We are using Topic Tags to mark important and useful posts in the group. Please do not create new tags or tag your own posts unless an admin or moderator asks you to. If you think a new Topic Tag should exist or a post should be tagged, please tag an admin to ask us.

Nice article, but I just created a couple of groups, using Social Learning and another for Study Group.
None of the groups have the Topic Tag available or visble anywhere at all.
Searching on FB support pages is useless.
I hope for some kind of advice on this –
Cheers

Not all groups have the topics tag at the moment – I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait for Swagbucks to implement it for your group. It could be that you need a certain amount of members or posts first.
